    Position Summary

     

    The Set Project Lead oversees work crews and ensures the fulfillment of Client and Customer project plans to build, set or reset their product line in retail environments. Key point of contact between Regional Operations Manager, Work Crews and Store Management.

     

    Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

     

    Team Management and Project Administration

    • Manage each shift and oversee assigned work crew to ensure execution of project plans and designs; work is completed according to critical path, set standards and all compliance and safety standards are met
    • On time completion of all paperwork, sign-offs and photos of completed work as well as communication with store management and the District Manager before, during and after the project.
    • Communicates on all points to provide regular project progress updates

    Display Building and Merchandising Products

    • Assemble steel shelving, create displays and merchandise projects according to planogram for promotion of an item as directed by client
    • Reset shelves, displays, bays and product displays

    POS Placement

    • Hang shelf signs, place coupons on product, etc. as directed by client

    Supervisory Responsibilities

     

    Direct Reports

     

    This position does not have supervisory responsibilities for direct reports

     

    Indirect Reports

     

    Does not have direct reports, but may delegate work of others and provide guidance, direction and mentoring to indirect reports

     

    Travel and/or Driving Requirements

    • Travel and Driving are essential duties and function of this job 
    • Travel up to 75%

    Minimum Qualifications

     

    The following are the minimum job-related qualifications which an individual needs in order to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the job

     

    Education Level: (Required)    High School Diploma or GED  or equivalent experience

                                       

    Field of Study/Area of Experience: 

    • 2-4 years of experience in related field
    • Experience managing work crews and project plans

    Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

    • Excellent written communication and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures
    • Strong prioritization skills
    • Ability to work independently and prioritize duties with minimal supervision, in order to meet deadlines
    • Ability to complete multiple duties with accuracy shifting from one to another with frequent interruptions and competing deadlines
    • Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and web-browsers

    Environmental & Physical Requirements

     

    Field / Reps Requirements

     

    Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed in a retail in-store environment. Typically requires the ability to spend 66%+ hours each work day doing the following activities:  engage in considerable physical activity, ability to lift and/or push up to 74 pounds, stand on feet for long periods of time, use products or cook food as appropriate for the demonstration, and may be required to work in extremely cold conditions (i.e. refrigerated and freezer sections). Also required to travel and drive.  The use of proper safety practices when handling the products and/or cooking is essential.
