    Responsibilities:

    • Reviews and processes timecard corrections from Payroll Team.
    • Keys temp rates in Oracle for late pay changes to rates 2 & 3.
    • Backup for check printing and bank uploads for manual checks.
    • Maintains Oracle payroll operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes; employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.

    Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience required
    • Excel experience is preferred
    • Must have strong communication, data entry, and organizational skills
    • Must have the ability to be confidential and above all give the best customer service
    • Must be able to multi-task and work somewhat independently

    Position Summary
    Specialist Payroll Systems is responsible for the payroll systems process and files. This role will also assist in various payroll systems projects, data maintenance and operational system questions. S/he will operate within and monitor compliance with applicable federal and state payroll laws and regulations.

     

    Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

    • Process hours transfers from Oracle timecards.
    • Use Oracle to process multiple bi-weekly and semi-monthly payrolls.
    • Assist payroll department with resolving associates with payroll questions, while maintaining payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data in Oracle payroll system.
    • Use of KBX and Discoverer reporting to compile summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages.
    • Assist with special projects such as but not limited to: Escheatment, Quarter/Year End and W2-C’s.
    • Work with EBS systems team to perform testing of system changes due to changes in policy, system requirements and enhancements.
    • Assist payroll systems management with Oracle and payroll operations by following policies and procedures.
    • Partner and maintain effective relationships with all business units.
    • Resolve payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
    • Provide payroll information by answering questions and requests.
    • Maintain Oracle payroll operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
    • Maintain employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
    • Perform other duties as may be assigned by management.
